| Step 11: Now we need to shape the V shaped piece of wire we just completed on the jig. This step is accomplished by using your bent chain nose pliers to bend each loop in the ends of the wire 90 degrees up. Grasp the loop firmly in your bent chain nose pliers while holding the rest of the wire component in your other hand and twist your bent chain nose pliers 90 degrees. When completed the wire should appear as shown at right. |

| Step 12: Now we need to make both of the loops at the end of the
wire into
eye
loops. This is accomplished with your round nose pliers.
Grasp the wire near the tips of your round nose pliers at the point where
the loop begins. Twist your round nose pliers 45 degrees. A
picture of this jewelry making technique can be found here. When
completed the V shaped wire component will appear as shown below, left.
Step 13: Now we need to make the horizontal beaded wire component. This component uses the 20 gauge 1 1/2 inch wire segment that we cut and straightened earlier. Place two pegs about 1/2 inch apart as shown below, right. Thread a bead onto your wire. Place the initial loop in your wire on the left most peg and wrap the wire around the right most peg. When finished it should appear as shown. |
