Step 18:  At this point we need to add the five bead dangles to each of the loops in the initial wire component.  Using a head pin about 1 to 1 1/2 inches long, make five bead dangles one hanging on each loop.

Step 19:  Connect the now complete earring body to an ear wire finding by the loop at the top of the V shaped wire component.  Open the loop in the ear wire finding, add the loop in the V shaped wire component and close the loop in the ear wire finding.  For this earring, we used an ear wire post with ball finding (item 2660 in gold-filled, or item 2659 in sterling silver.)

Step 20:  Complete this jewelry making project by making a second earring following the same steps.

Alternative Jewelry Making Designs:

The first alternative design is the one shown above right.  In this design, 24 gauge wire is used to wrap the bead in the center of the beaded wire component and to hold the loop closed at the top of the V shaped wire component.  Performing this wrap will take a little patience and practice, but the results may be worth it.

A second alternative is to make the initial wire component with only three loops instead of five.  The V shaped wire component would be made the same way, but at a slightly different angle.  The beaded wire component would need to be shorter in order to accommodate the different angle in the V shaped component.
