Step 7:  Remove the wire from the jig and using your step jaw pliers complete the final loop.  When completed, the wire should appear as shown at right.  By using the smallest step of the step jaw pliers for all three loops, each loop will be exactly the same size.

Step 7 Complete Final Loop

Step 8:  Cut the wire tail and close the final loop.  The wire will appear as shown.  Using chain nose or bent chain nose pliers bend the wire slightly so that it is flat and essentially in one plane.

Step 8

Step 9:  Cut a segment of chain about 1 1/4 to 1 1/2 inches long.  Be sure to have an odd number of links of chain.  I used a chain segment with 13 links for these earrings.

Step 10:  Open the loops on either end of the wire component completed in step 8.  Place the beginning and ending loop of the chain onto either end of the wire component, then close the loops.  The techniques for opening and closing loops can be found here

Step 11:  Now make seven bead dangles using head pins and 4mm beads and hang these bead dangles from the chain.  Start with the first bead dangle in the middle link of the chain and space the remainder evenly on either side of the center.  The technique for making the wrapped loop used with these bead dangles is shown here.  Try to hang the bead dangles from the same side of the chain so that the chain hangs evenly, without tangles.

Step 12:  Connect an ear wire to the center loop in the wire.  For the earrings shown I made my own ear wires using the pattern found here
