Making earrings to compliment this necklace involves modifying the yoke pattern slightly. Instead of using seven pegs in the triangle pattern, I used five to make a wire component that is smaller than the yoke for the necklace. This yoke component appears at right. It is made out of 4 inches of 20G 1/2 hard wire.

Each earring for this pattern are made with three figure 8 connectors (made with 20G wire), 3 or 5 beads with 3 or 5 head-pins, two 1/2 inch segments of medium, round commercial chain, an ear wire finding and the wire component shown at right.

Modified
Yoke

To make these earrings, first make two of the modified yoke components and six total figure 8 connectors. Cut four 1/2" segments of commercial chain and count out either 6 or 10 head-pins and 6 or 10 beads. Hang your beads from the loops in the modified yoke component just like you did for the Necklace. Connect one 1/2" segment of commercial chain to one side of the modified yoke with a figure 8 connector, opening and closing the loops as discussed here. Do the same for the other side of the modified yoke. Now connect the ends of the chain to your ear wire finding with a figure 8 connector. This third figure 8 connector is used so that the earring hangs with the proper orientation. With that done, make a second earring using the same steps and you are done.
